Yggdrasil has proudly served as the official sponsor of the IK Padel Malta courts at Pembroke Gardens, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to supporting sport, wellbeing and community initiatives in Malta.

The partnership, started on January 2026, reflects Yggdrasil’s belief in creating opportunities that encourage active lifestyles, teamwork and social connection, values that are deeply embedded in the company culture.
Through the sponsorship, players at the IK Padel Village Court at Pembroke Gardens are immersed in the world of Yggdrasil, surrounded by visuals from popular titles including Valley of the Gods, Vikings Go Berzerk, as well as the latest additions Coo Coo Cashoo LightningLinesTM and Gemstone Jam.
The sponsorship has also been made in partnership with three new studios, part of the YGG Masters’ Program and the first Game in a BoxTM adopters: Fish & Chips, Slightly Edgy and Suits & Royals.
Malta has been Yggdrasil’s home for more than 10 years, while padel has rapidly become one of the most popular sports among the island’s iGaming community. More than 3,000 players have already played on IK Padel Malta courts, highlighting the growing enthusiasm for the sport and the strong sense of community it creates.
IK Padel was first introduced in Malta in December 2019, when Ivana Kubickova and Neville Arpa opened their first court at Salini Resort. Since then, the sport has seen exceptional growth, with the brand now operatingmore than 20 courts across four locations: Pembroke Gardens; Manoel Island, Gzira; Luxol, Pembroke; and Salini Resort, Salina.
For Yggdrasil, the sponsorship is about more than brand visibility. It represents the company’s commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles, encouraging outdoor activity and creating opportunities for people to connect outside the workplace. As a Malta-based employer with more than 30 employees on the island, Yggdrasil continues to invest in initiatives that positively impact both its team and the wider community.
