Head of Channel Marketing

We are looking for a Head of Channel Marketing to join our fast-paced and growing Marketing team. You will be responsible for creating, executing and monitoring our channel marketing activities towards our operator clients.

Besides working closely with the Marketing team, you will interact with our commercial and product teams as well as other key company stakeholders. Reporting to the CMO, the ideal candidate will be a self-motivated multi-tasker, possess strong analytical and project management skills. Experience working within an iGaming operator's marketing or acquisition team would really help you connect quickly to the projects and unique demands of the industry.

Key skills

  • Channel marketing background with commercial mindset and hands-on experience from channel marketing such as; web, email, social media, trade media, advertising, PR etc.
  • Ability to provide direction, influence others and develop strong working relationships with many departments across the organization
  • Commitment to quality, focused on customer needs and can manage profitability
  • Proven record managing both the big picture and paying attention to details, be a great planner and organizer, and a driver of creativity
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
  • Result-driven, structured, detail oriented, and great problem-solving skills
  • Keep track of trends in the market and applying insights in your daily work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)

Nice to have

  • Passion and previous commercial experience from online gaming products
  • Demonstrate multitasking, highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and innovatively, analyze issues, and use sound judgment
  • Excellent spoken and written language skills in English
  • Bachelor’s degree, Marketing or Business preferred


  • Manage production planning and coordination to ensure that all games and developments from the roadmap is packaged and communicated in an understandable, selling and compelling way
  • Manage, monitor, optimise and report channel marketing performance and promotional activities across different verticals, markets and support growth of our existing clients/studio partnerships, increase traffic based on standard KPIs such as conversion rate, player value and ROI
  • Own our client zone Source and drive upcoming re-design web project
  • Create and deliver channel marketing strategy and plan, aligned with Yggdrasil business objectives
  • Liaise with different internal-and external stakeholders to identify, plan, implement, and manage the most relevant and engaging channel marketing activities
  • Own and manage all channel marketing communication, including coordination and development of relevant advertising (online and print), PR, trade media, editorials, newsletters, email marketing, social media, web and customer portal and content management
  • Build, position and optimize PR, advertising and channel communications activities to drive brand awareness, traffic and leads in the most efficient way
  • Act as single point of contact for the relationship with our UK media agency and take ownership of all media and press release communication, including internal and external coordination
  • Support internal and external product marketing, customer events, tradeshows and exhibitions
